Endego Sharpens Focus on Engineering and Digitalization Services.

Endego, a portfolio company of Abris Capital Partners, has completed the sale of its Siemens and Altair software distribution business to Volupe Group. The transaction allows Endego to sharpen its focus on engineering and digitalization services for customers in the mobility and industrial sectors.

Endego has completed the sale of its spun-off software distribution business, which was responsible for the sale and distribution of Siemens and Altair software. The business has been acquired by Volupe Group, a European provider of CAE and engineering simulation software and a software partner of Siemens and Altair.

The transaction forms part of Endego’s long-term strategy to focus on the development of its engineering and digitalization services. The company will concentrate its resources, investments and organizational development on delivering customer-specific solutions for clients in the mobility and industrial sectors.

Since its establishment, Endego has built broad engineering capabilities supporting customers throughout the product lifecycle – from concept development and design, through simulation and validation, to industrialization and production support. The divestment of the software distribution business will allow Endego to further strengthen these core capabilities and accelerate the development of its engineering services portfolio.

“The sale of the software distribution business is a natural step in the implementation of our strategy. We want to focus fully on developing Endego as an engineering partner that provides integrated expertise across mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics design, software development and virtual validation.

Our objective is to deliver complementary, system-focused solutions throughout the product development lifecycle for customers in the mobility and industrial sectors. We see particularly strong demand in areas such as e-mobility and connectivity, and these will remain important areas for the continued development of our expertise and long-term customer relationships,” said Krzysztof Walczak, CEO of Endego.

“The mobility and industrial sectors are undergoing rapid transformation, driven by electrification, connectivity and increasingly software-defined products. At the same time, even as AI changes how engineering work is performed, demand for high-quality core engineering expertise remains very strong. The transaction is an important step for Endego, allowing the company to focus its resources on the capabilities where it can create the greatest long-term value for its customers. Congratulations to Krzysztof and the entire management team on successfully completing this process,” added Tomasz Hajduk, Investment Director at Abris Capital Partners.

The transaction relates exclusively to Endego’s software distribution activities. The company continues to deliver engineering projects across a broad range of industrial sectors, providing expertise in mechanical engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, software and hardware development, CAE, CFD, project management, production support and industrialization.

Rolling stock OEMs can reduce prototype risk by defining the validation scope early, connecting design with FEM analysis, checking critical joints and interfaces, and preparing traceable evidence before manufacturing begins. Simulation does not remove the need for physical testing. It helps make the prototype a confirmation of a mature design rather than the first place where major structural weaknesses are discovered.

An electric motor is only one component of a vehicle’s e-drive system.
