Multi Body Dynamic analyses and strength calculations were carried out for the various stages of the project. At the prototyping stage, the methods used were Model In the Loop, Software In the Loop, Hardware In the Loop, Software & Hardware Design.
A unique solution for people with disabilities adapted even to difficult driving conditions. The wheelchair is equipped with inertial measurement units, IR distance sensors, seat stabilisation and an automation algorithm that allows the disabled user to negotiate stairs and take longer walks independently. (With the help of a joystick, one does not drive). The device allows for use with a wide variety of wheelchair models.
